ABOUT MEHello!My name is MaryKate Walling and I am a sports videographer and work in sports communication. I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and Journalism with a minor in Political Science from Iowa State University in May of 2023. I also have received my Master's Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism with an emphasis on sports media. I have had the privilege to gather experience over the last four years working with the Iowa State Football team as one of their creative media students. I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute my expertise and experience to a media/communications role in sports.

PORTFOLIORecent ProjectsWhile working closely with the Iowa State Football media team, I have been given the opportunity to indulge into many roles throughout the years. These roles have included creating highlight videos for players, contributing footage to media posts, and coming up/executing ideas that are trending topics on social media.
